Light shines in darkness. And it doesn't matter how much darkness there is, darkness can never overcome light. And Christmas is about how Jesus came and light powerfully broke through the darkness of our world. Whatever the darkness we're up against our Christmas hope is that there is one who calls himself the Light of the world and promises that whoever follows him will never walk in darkness.
